Production Solutions

Built to cast,
first time.

Prototyping, mould strategy and casting-ready CAD for studios and manufacturers that need a piece to scale — predictably, at the cost they planned for.

Who we work with

Three kinds of
production problem.

Production Solutions exists for three situations. Each one starts from a different place. All three end in a piece that scales.

Studios

Independent studios and emerging brands that have a piece ready to launch but no production pipeline. We engineer the file, prototype, and — if you want — handle production end to end.

Manufacturers

Workshops and brands already in production whose existing files cost more than they should — failed castings, mould issues, unit cost drift. We audit and rework.

Designers

Designers and small studios with their own 3D printer who keep losing prints to bad files. We optimise the file so it prints first time, every time.

Deliverables

Files, prototypes,
finished pieces.

Depending on the brief, a project closes at one of three points. Where it closes is your decision —

  • Casting-ready CAD. STL or ZBrush, with documented tolerances, wall thickness and sprue notes. Ready for any casting house — yours or ours.
  • 3D-printed prototype. Resin or wax, with optimised support strategy. For sign-off, fitting, or pre-production review.
  • Mould strategy and unit-cost analysis. Engineering plan for the casting and finishing chain, with documented cost-per-unit at the volumes you need.
  • File audit and rework. For existing production files that are underperforming — failed castings, mould issues, unit cost drift.
  • Optional end-to-end production. When the brief asks for a delivered piece (not just a file), we handle casting, setting and finishing through trusted partners. One interlocutor, one quality standard.

Service

3D print files that
print.

A lot of jewellery designers buy a resin printer and discover that the file is the hard part, not the machine. Wasted resin, failed prints, broken supports, hours of trial and error.

We optimise the file so it prints first time.

What it includes

  • STL repair. Closed mesh, no holes, no flipped normals, no internal geometry the slicer can’t read.
  • Decimation. Reducing polygon count for slicing speed without losing the detail that matters at print scale.
  • Support strategy. Generated and reviewed manually — not automatic. Supports go where they don’t scar the piece.
  • Orientation analysis. The right angle for resin flow, surface quality and support removal.
  • Resin profile review (DLP only). Identifying exposure, anti-aliasing and lift-speed issues that are ruining your prints — even when the file is fine.
  • Slicer-ready output. Delivered in STL or Chitubox-ready format.

Process

Four steps,
one outcome.

01

You send the file or the piece.

Existing CAD, a sketch, a failed prototype, a piece in production that costs too much. We audit, reply with feasibility notes and quote within two working days.

02

We engineer the file.

Wall thickness, tolerances, sprue strategy, support logic. For rework projects: we identify the structural reason the piece is underperforming and fix it.

03

We print and validate.

Resin or wax prototype, depending on the production path. Live session to review fit, proportion and finish before committing to mould or casting.

04

You receive the production package.

Casting-ready file, prototype, mould and unit-cost documentation. Or — if the brief includes end-to-end production — the finished pieces themselves.

Where it matters

When every gram
and every casting counts.

Three scenarios where Production Solutions delivers measurable difference —

A

Files that fail in production.

A piece in production with a failure rate above five per cent isn’t a casting problem — it’s a file problem. We audit, identify, rework. The same piece, casting clean from the next batch.

B

From sample to batch.

A unique piece that worked once needs different engineering to work a hundred times. Mould strategy, casting yield and finishing protocol designed for the volume, not retrofitted to it.

C

First-time prints, every time.

For studios with their own resin or wax printer: files engineered specifically for first-time success. No more lost resin, broken supports, or unusable prototypes.

Trusted by

What clients say.

It was always easy and pleasant to talk to you. You saw the core of every problem and, with your knowledge, offered the best, simplest and quickest solution. Professionalism first — but through a pleasant conversation.

— Rudi Gajšek, Designer · Zlatarska Radiona Križek, Croatia

Jordi is a great professional who always brings deep technical knowledge to our projects, generously and with a smile. Working with him is like having another member of the team — and the reassurance that if there’s a problem, he’ll be there.

— Maribel González, CEO · Disien, Spain

After years working with the studio, we’ve always had a personalised, professional service with an almost immediate response to any problem — and the best advice for whatever we needed. We hope to keep working with them for a very long time, for their reliability and efficiency.

Investment

Every project
quoted individually.

A file optimisation, a prototype, a mould strategy and an end-to-end production run are four very different scopes. File optimisation is quoted by hours; production projects need a fuller estimate that accounts for prototype cycles, casting volume and finishing.

Send the file or the piece — we reply within two working days with an hours range, scope notes and deliverables. For integrated projects we provide a fuller estimate. We don’t issue closed fixed-price quotes.

Send the file.
We’ll make it work.

A file in production that’s failing. A prototype that won’t print. A piece you need to scale. A collection that needs a production plan. Two working days for a reply with a structured quote.
